Blood for Blood: Enter the Shroud explores RPG games in a new way. You play Astrid, a young Viking witch and daughter of two former heroes. Raised only by her mother, abandoned by her father, Astrid was abandoned by her village. Our story takes place after a hunt, when Astrid finds her village destroyed and her mother missing. Unsure of her abilities, she sought out her father, Bilg. So "Blood Ties: Into the Shroud" embarks on an adventure of self-discovery. Discover the inner strength of the Vikings and the truth behind it all.

gameplay

Exploration and discovery. Dive right in and explore your environment. You'll get XP for everything you do, from picking plants for medicine to discovering mysterious environments.
Talent. Pray to the gods for their blessing. What they give you is entirely up to them. Gifts are acquired through various means, including quests, gifts from the gods, or discovery through exploration.
Fight. Choose your battles wisely, or use invisibility to find another way. Be careful with your axe, bow, and spells, as there is no auto-aiming or easy mode combat.
State effect. Create buffs, DEBUFF, or statuses to aid your journey. Don't discount the status effect, because it can be helpful in one situation and harmful in another.
Made by hand. Collect and craft smart items to ensure success on your journey. Craft is an important part of your journey, as you may not be able to acquire all of your talents, traits, and abilities on your journey.
