【Game Introduction】

Boundless AI Fantasy is an indie RPG that combines AI-driven roleplaying with tactical turn-based combat. Players can design their own campaigns, characters, locations, and stories through the editor, then watch as language models narrate and evolve these stories as they play, delivering a personalized, dynamic adventure. When conflict arises, dive into tactical turn-based combat on an isometric grid.

Narrative Quality

• By crafting your own world through the editor, you not only unleash your creativity but also give the model more to work with: the locations, characters and backstories you write are handed to the AI as the context it narrates from.

Turn-Based Tactical Combat

• Isometric, Grid-Based Battles: Press the Start Combat button any time the AI is idle; the view shifts to an isometric grid battlefield built from your current location, with the characters around you. Coordinate movement, exploit range, deploy skills. Characters earn EXP and level up from combat victories and quest completion.

World & Campaign Creation

• Customizable Campaigns through the editor: Design campaigns from scratch, define locations, world descriptions and create characters with stats, background descriptions, and skills.

Local AI

AI models run locally on your own machine, no cloud, no subscriptions, no account, no API key, and no data leaving your PC. Two open-source models (Google Gemma 4 (e2b and e4b)) ship with the game. You can also configure the game to use your own model: any model in a format accepted by HuggingFace Transformers or GGUF with llama.cpp.

This game is a personal project done fully by a single developer.
