【Game Introduction】

"Sapiens" is the first PC game by independent developer Dave Frampton.
among Homo sapiens, you created your own prehistoric civilization. Lead your tribe from the ground and immerse yourself in the world in which you shaped it. Build towns and industries with complete freedom and control, from placing the smallest pebbles to building immortal buildings. From nothing, through thousands of years of technological breakthroughs, move forward in this intimate and vast colonial simulation.

choose your home

choose from thousands of program-generated lands on a map larger than the Earth itself. Choose wisely, because each region has different climates, resources and challenges. Finding the right place to start your home is the key to developing your civilization.

lead your people

as you lead your people through the unknown, walk side by side with them. Homo sapiens instruct individuals to focus on specific tasks, such as growing crops, collecting materials, building, hunting, cooking, and so on. Watch them learn new skills and make them more valuable to your tribe. Manage their emotions, health, and families that support their growth.

find Resources

find new resources and send your Homo sapiens to investigate, bring new breakthroughs, unlock new things to build and make. Start with the raw materials and gradually use more advanced tools and technologies.

build a civilization

build a sanctuary that can not only make your humans happy, but also conserve food and resources. Each wall, roof, seat, or fireplace can be placed separately. Every tree, log, plank or rock can be removed or placed, and the terrain can be excavated, mined or filled to shape the world you want.

expand where you arrive

send humans far away and set up camps to collect distant resources. Create a transportation network and bring these resources back to the base for processing or storage. Send a team to explore long distances or go on hunting missions. Cut down a mammoth to provide your tribe with food and clothing for months, but you may lose some Homo sapiens.
